February Dome, Under Glass Collection
This artwork is a reproduction of my original watercolor painting, part of my new monthly collection, where each month is preserved inside a glass dome like an entomology treasure.
February is represented with luminous violet beetle, soft lilac wings, and blooming hellebore, the flower that always feels like February to me.
Hellebores bloom in the cold, quiet and resilient, and that’s exactly what this month evokes.
The blue butterfly feels like a winter queen, delicate, almost icy and the moth rests below like a guardian of the in-between season.
These are the colors February gives me.
Muted violets. Cool blues. Quiet transformation.
A small world paused in time, meant to be observed slowly.
This print is carefully made from the original watercolor to preserve fine details, textures, and soft washes of color.
The original watercolor painting is also available for collectors who wish to own the one-of-a-kind piece.
