Using a broken book I found in a vintage shop and gouache I created this outgoing Collection of Life in Old Pages.

Each illustration is unique and won't be reproduce.

This is a Imperial moth.

I wanted to give a second opportunity to these pieces of paper.

The illustration measures 4x6 in aprox.

Each painting is designed to provide a death-free alternative to having your favorite insects on your wall.

This illustration would make a lovely addition to the home of any nature lover or bug collector, or anyone with an appreciation for these unique creatures.

Nassybah Touriño is an illustrator, and amateur naturalist based in Madison WI. Her Watercolor illustrations focus on natural history subjects like taxonomy, biodiversity, and taxidermy, as well as related subjects like astronomy and the ways humans relate to the natural world.
She currently lives in Chiapas, MX with her husband, and their kids.
