Atlas Beetle Watercolor Illustration PRINT

18.00

This is a print of my original watercolor painting of an Atlas Beetle.

The Atlas beetle (Chalcosoma atlas) is a very large species of beetle in the family Scarabaeidae, found in Southeast Asia. Males have three prominent horns. The species is named for Atlas, the giant of Greek mythology who supported the skies.

Size 9x12 inches.

I printed these on textured white paper with archival inks, for you to get a print with the look & feel of an original watercolor.

I sign each print by hand before shipping so every print has been touched by the artist's hands.

Each painting is designed to provide a death-free alternative to having your favorite insects on your wall.

This watercolor would make a lovely addition to the home of any nature lover or bug collector, or anyone with an appreciation for these unique creatures.
